I like how they would have to drive across the grass to get into the garage. This amateur rendering is almost cute.

Other than that, I don't entirely mind this place. Looks nice.

Ok again parking beneath the building, not out of scale in a neighborhood of single family homes, takes an empty lot. It won't win awards, but it certainly improves the hood. I would gladly take something like this, actually already have a project similar to this that TRB Arch designed a block from me and it was a great add.

I agree that this project is a huge win for the neighborhood. Does the design (I'm talking about the wooden balconies on the first floor) conflict with the brick row houses across the street?

That's a problem with a lot of the green solutions around here...

"Pave Stone" is probably the most durable green solution when it comes to snow plowing.

The new Lexus building out on Dodge has some permeable pavers in part of the parking lot that allow water to drain though them. I also believe that the new Forest Glenn sub division out by the Elkhorn River will also require permeable pavers in part of of every driveway.

If you Google shoveling grasspave they say to put skids on the corner of plow blades or use a height adjustable snow blower. Apparently their first customer was in Colorado and suggested the skids.

I'd imagine they're less slippery for walking during the winter.

Soooo are the green pavers going to be an actual thing at this place or is it just a shitty rendering?

Probably just a flaw in the rendering I said that as a joke had no idea it was even a thing.
