First Friday is Tomorrow, May 3rd, 2013

Also, I am now officially a member of the Old Market Artists Gallery, also known as the OMA Gallery on the Lower Lever of the Passageway.  I will be there tomorrow night for my first, First Friday!

Congrats!

Yea, its going to be a quick turn around Friday night/Saturday morning.  By the time we clean up at First Friday and I get home its going to be close to 10pm.  Then I need to triple check to make sure everything is ready for the 2013 Rockbrook Village Art Fair.  I usually start loading up the car by 6am...

Its fun though... I wish I could do a lot more art fairs!

After two "off" Months, First Friday is back in Full Swing this Friday.

Free Parking at Nebraska at the Market and also across the street at the Creighton Clinic. Hop on Ollie the Trolly and head around to the different galleries. Appitizers and Wine at both the Old Market Artists Co-Op, AKA OMA Gallery and also the Passageway Gallery.

Curt Norman - Wood Turner is the Featured Artists at OMA
Steve Freilinger - Wood Turner is the Featured Artists at the Passageway.

Both Curt and Steve do fantastic work. They have some similar styles in their work and some similar pieces. Biggest Difference is that Curt has some natural looking "rough" looking pieces made from Burls (big knots on a tree) and Steve has composite pieces he as created from layering wood together.

Time Wright aka "Timmy's Treehouse" and I also have items in the Passageway Gallery and I have all my cityscapes in the OMA Gallery.

Between OMA and Passageway there are 30 different artists works on display.

Hope to see everyone there.
