Feta's Gyros & Catering

Post by Coyote »

I am surprised we do not have a thread for Feta's. I went to the 144th location for lunch today and ordered the Supreme Gyro with Greek Potatoes.  Large portion and very well prepared while delivered fast, as most peoples were as I watched. Half way decent interior, nothing to write home about. Above King Kongs Gyros, but with a limited menu it can't compare to other finer Greek restaurant.

I really like Feta's. It's close to my school so I'll usually get lunch there if I didn't have time to get something from home. The spicy gyro is my favorite.

I usually get their gyro combo with potatoes. The portions are very reasonable to the point where it's hard to keep everything together and I just use a fork and knife.

Is there much difference between the one on 114th and the one on 144th?

I've been to both locations and haven't really noticed a difference.

Greek salad with gyro meat.  My wife and I will get a side of extra gyro meat in our to go orders to share with our pup.  This place has been given the bark of approval by both our dog and granddog, four paws.

They are almost identical in appearance, layout, and food. I've seen the same employees at both locations on occasion.

I have to disagree. I went to the W Dodge one yesterday and it was smaller and felt much older than the one on W Center. Tried the Mousaka, and felt it was made way before hand, but something like that you never know how much is going to be ordered, felt like the green beans came right out of a can, not fresh at all, maybe it was is a steam pan for the day...

I would guess that I have been to Fetas on Dodge at least 100 times and I don't think I have got anything other than a gyro!

Definitely try the dolmathes, moussaka, and a falafel.

Did the 144th and Center Fetas location Close? (and the Arby's in the same plaza?)

Feta's website doesn't have that location listed, so I would assume yes. The Arby's in that plaza seems to have been delisted well.

It's still a Greek restaurant with roughly the same food, but changed names to Nalini's.
