2014 Offutt Defenders of Freedom Air Show

Omaha has been selected as a Host city fo rthe 2014 Navy Week. It is set to line up with the Defenders of Freedom Air Show. The Blue Angles will be schedualed to fly. Of course it it all dependent on sequestration

Sweet can't wait. I was hoping they would come in the evening when I was home so I could see them fly over. I am sure they will be doing some test runs in the next few days.

Thankfully I live in Bellevue and got to see the Blue Angels a little bit on Friday because we went to the air show on Sunday but some family from out of town had to leave early and we missed the last 1/2 of the airshow. Which meant that we didn't get to see the Blue Angels. How often do they usually come? Every 3-5 years is what I was thinking.

Back in the day, it was every other year. The off years, it was the thunder birds, who are just as good.
