Re: Creighton Prep Bell Tower
Wow. That's a bold move.
The scale of the vertical supports look bulky enough to support a 900' tower, in my opinion.
I wonder if they'll lease out space for cellular equipment in the top. That's not an uncommon way to help pay for towers these days.

He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
...and then they were gone.

Re: Creighton Prep Bell Tower
The $16 million expansion is called the Lannon Learning Complex - named after former Prep and Creighton University President, Timothy Lannon. Prep alum Scott Heider and his wife (Cindy, on Prep's board of directors) fronted $8 million and are in charge of raising the additional $8 million. The rest of the expansion includes student support services - supporting "the educational, emotional, psychological and socioeconomic needs of each student." They moved a vice principal over to head the entire thing and hired a handful of new counselors/support staff. It'll be done prior to the 2019-20 school year.GetUrban wrote: Fri Aug 31, 2018 7:29 pm Wow. That's a bold move.

More information and a handful of additional renderings are in their summer magazine - https://creightonprep.creighton.edu/upl ... _issue.pdf
