rainforest caffe

I was talking with a friend the other day and they told me they heard that a rain forest cafe was going to take the place of Champs restaurant in the Oak View mall that had to close down.. anyone else hear anything about this?

That would be really cool and I can somewhat see that happening. I know that Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, KS has a Rainforest Cafe located in the same sort of space that Champs was (next to the front door within the mall).

it seems WAY too small to fit that. Perhaps they would extend it out the front a bit...

I love the Rain Forest Cafe. I always wished HDZ would build one but Oakview works for me. I have been to the Rainforest Cafe in Denver, KC, and Walt Disney World.

And yes, champs would be way too small, they would have to extend the front.

I'd like to see rainforest more North Downtown in the area of the Qwest Center and close to the market. Maybe on the Pinnacle site?
